Here In Talia land, minds are filled with jumbled thoughts and this is my first blog post ever so bear with me.
So as I sit here and eat this Arctic Circle Cookie Dough shake, let's see if I can get all this clutter organized.
First off, have you ever read a book? They are amaze-balls, FYI.
I am currently obsessed with The Fault in Our Stars by John Green.
"The marks humans leave are too often scars."
"What a slut time is. She screws everybody."
So I just suggest all of you go and buy this book, you won't be disappointed, and it's 20% off at Target right now.
I have a very wide range of book interests that range from crack heads and teen prostitutes to a cancer love story. Like, there is no in between.
Hold this to me, guys; I, Talia June Ybarguen, am going to have a book published one day. It will be a New York Times Bestseller and no, we can't become friends when I get famous.
On a totally completely different note, I was at Ikea today and my Interior Designer side came out. I wanted to be an Interior Designer forever, then I took a class my Sophomore year and absolutely hated it(I feel like it was the teacher though). BUT I realized that I would love to go around and decorate peoples houses. This adds to my future teacher/journalist/cop jobs, though. (Yeah, I'm a little indecisive.) I wanted to buy everything while I was there! Now if I would have done that, my room would have looked ridiculous and cluttered, so I just ended up buying three little pictures with a New York theme going on. I'm going to hang them up all cute over my bed and it is just going to be a good ole cute time.
While I'm talking about New York, as some of you know, I'm dying to move there. I have it all planned out now: I'm going to get a little studio apartment( not one where the bed goes up into the wall though, that's too much anxiety), decorate it all cute and modern with my bed facing the city so when I wake up it's the best view anybody could ever ask for, and become a big time journalist or Special Education teacher. Then maybe I'll look like Blake Lively and find myself a Chuck Bass. ;) It's okay to be jealous.
I'm trying this new thing I like to call expanding my vocabulary. I also tried this new thing called "waking up before nine when I don't have school" and I woke up at noon today, so it's obviously going along nicely.
Soothsayer: a person who predict the future by magical, intuitive or more rational means.
*at an imaginary spelling bee*
"Talia, can you please spell the word, "soothsayer"?"
"Uh, can you use it in a sentence?"
"Raven Symone was a soothsayer in That's so Raven and this word is dumb and I'll probably never use it in my life."
Well, I hope your vocabulary has been expanded like mine has.
Here is just a friendly reminder that Summer is in 107 days but we live in Utah so we won't be at a beach, unfortunately. Carry on, nasties.
